Chili Lime Margarita

Chili Lime Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco works great)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • ¾ oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)

  • 1 oz pineapple juice (fresh if you can!)

  • 2-3 slices fresh jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat)

  • ½ oz agave syrup (optional, but balances the spice)

  • 4-5 dashes Warn Reserve Chili Lime Bitters
  • Ice

  • Tajín or chili-lime salt (for rimming)

  • Pineapple wedge or jalapeño slice (for garnish)

Method:

  1. Rim the glass:
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into Tajín or chili-lime salt. Set aside.

  2. Muddle:
In a shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices with the lime juice and agave syrup to release the heat.

  3. Shake:
Add tequila, pineapple juice, chili lime bitters, and orange liqueur.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake it up for 15-20 seconds until chilled.

  4. Serve:
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

  5. Garnish:
Add a pineapple wedge, a lime wheel, or a jalapeño slice for extra flair.

Optional Tips:

  • Adjust the heat by using more or less Chili Lime Bitters.

  • Try grilling the pineapple for a smoky twist.

  • Swap tequila for mezcal if you want a smoky-spicy combo.
