Bittersweet Symphony

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz gin

  • 0.75 oz Aperol

  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 0.25 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water)

  • 4 dashes Warn Reserve Orange Bitters

  • Sparkling water (to top)

  • Lemon twist or grapefruit peel (for garnish)


Method:

  1. Shake:
    In a shaker, combine gin, Aperol, lemon juice, honey syrup, and orange bitters. Add ice and shake until chilled.

  2. Strain:
    Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass over fresh ice.

  3. Top & Garnish:
    Top with a splash of sparkling water for a little fizz. Garnish with a lemon twist or grapefruit peel for an aromatic finish.
